National Seminar
We realize that energy is the main source of the continuance of life in the earth.The community awareness especially the young generation about the importance of protect and conserve energy and environment is still low. Nowadays, the wasteful use of energy causes serious effects for environment. In order to increase knowledge and interest about the importance of energy and environment, in the second day ( 7th October 2012) of IAAS Olympic 2012, there will be a National Seminar with theme “Green Energy to Support Sustainable Agricultural and Environment”. In the middle of seminar, there will be final phase of Agroquiz and National Debate Competition and also exhibition from the finalist of Junior AgroEnviro Ambassador. The Seminar will be presented by Ir. Tri Mumpuni (Executive Director of Business and Community Economy Institute (IBEKA))* and Ir. Sri Endah Agustina, M.S (The Head of Renewable Energy Division , Department of Mechanical and Biosystem Engineering, Bogor Agricultural University).By this seminar, we do hope the participant knowledge about energy supply and also energy that environmental friendly will be increase. This event will be hold in second day together with the champion inauguration.
